Notification on the renaming of the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Center

Considering the Government Ordinance no. 17 of 29 August 2018, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 755 of 31 August 2018, we notify you that the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Authority (CIAS) has been renamed as the CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS AUTHORITY (SIAA).

Voluntary report an aviation occurrence!

Definitions

Voluntary reporting - information provided by any person (employee of a civil aviation agent, passenger etc.), absolutely voluntarily, about a civil aviation occurrence, considering that this is in the benefit of flight safety.

Aviation occurrence - an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight until such time as all the persons have disembarked.

Confidentiality - non-punitive systems are based on confidential reporting. The person reporting an incident must be sure that his identity and other information that may be used to identify his/her will not be disclosed.
